17 orphaned Mustang foals were rescued in New Mexico when their mothers were rounded up and sent off to slaughter, leaving the un-weaned foals to die. Live and Let Live Farm was lucky enough to be a part of this rescue, having just welcomed 6 of these precious survivors to our farm on Oct 25, xxxx. They had been rehabilitated at another shelter out west so they could be transported, have required lots of vet care, dental check ups and hoof care.
