Mustang - Pretty Eagle (navajo Mustang Foal) - Medium - Baby
Pretty Eagle is one of 17 orphaned Mustang foals that were rescued in New Mexico when their mothers were rounded up and sent off to slaughter, leaving the un-weaned foals to die. Live and Let Live Farm was lucky enough to be a part of this rescue, having welcomed 6 of these precious survivors to our farm on Oct 25, xxxx. With lots of TLC, these foals have grown healthy and happy, used to handling, being trained to walk on a lead, and they've had regular dental and hoof care. You can see the foals and all our other farm animals on our tour, offered every Sunday at 2:30. Tour lasts about 2 hours and is mostly outdoors, so dress for the weather and lots of walking. UPDATE 3/7/14: Pretty Eagle is healthy and doing great (pictured with buddy Ayasha in one photo), and is learning how to walk on a lead rope and follow the cues of her human handler.
